Scott Ellis, PE

OVERVIEW

Scott is a graduate of Penn State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering with a focus in Transportation. He is a Highway Engineer and registered Professional Engineer at HDR Engineering. Scott has more than 13 years of experience in highway design projects from small bridge replacements to mega projects that involve everything from bridge and roadway rehabilitation to reconstruction, bridge approach work, traffic control, right-of-way, and road rehabilitation for local collector and arterials. His experience includes the development of geometrics, surface modeling, design of roadside barriers, production of construction, traffic control, signing and pavement marking, and right-of-way plans as well as cross sections and engineers cost estimates. Scott has managed small and large design teams from preliminary design through construction services with the most recent project being the Pittsburgh International Airport’s Terminal Modernization project.
